We are doing our best to maximize the safety of our guests. Please do not feel pressured to attend our wedding or reception if you are not comfortable with the guidelines below. The safety and comfort of our guests comes first. If there is any part of our wedding day that you do not feel comfortable attending, please let us know.
We ask that our guests who choose to attend take precautions to ensure their health leading up to the wedding. If you are not feeling well, please plan to stay home for the safety of other guests.
If you have already sent in your RSVP and have changed your mind about attending, please let us know as soon as possible. For any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?
Yes. Although statewide policy has changed, we politely request all guests to wear masks if within 6 feet of each other, unless explicitly known the other party is comfortable. Masks may be taken off for drinking and eating.
We will also have masks available at the venue.
HOW CAN I SOCIAL DISTANCE?
We will have bracelets available for you to wear to indicate how you are social distancing.
Please read the guidelines below:
- RED - keeping our distance
- YELLOW - okay with talking but not touching
- GREEN - okay with hugs and high fives
This will help us know your level of comfort, and will also give you guidance for how to interact with other guests.
We will have ~75 guests in attendance. The Laura May Chapel can accommodate 200 guests and the Reception Hall has capacity for 270 guests.
AM I REQUIRED TO GET COVID-19 TESTED?
No. We will not be mandating COVID-19 testing for guests.
FYI - The full wedding party will be getting tested one week prior since they will not be wearing masks during the ceremony. All guests will still be required to wear masks in the Chapel.
WHERE CAN I WASH MY HANDS?
There will be bathrooms at the venue where you can wash your hands. Hand sanitizer will also be available at the at the entrance of both the chapel and reception hall, and at each reception table.
WHAT OTHER COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN?
All vendors will be required to wear masks throughout the day.
WILL THERE BE DANCING AT THE RECEPTION?
We are planning to have a dance floor at our reception, and are asking everyone to wear masks when dancing.
CAN I DRIVE TO THE VENUE?
Yes. There is ample free parking at the venue. There will not be transportation service to/from the venue and hotel, so please plan accordingly.
CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Absolutely! We request that you tag your photos with our wedding hashtag #sotofoundchiulove so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE? DO I NEED TO MAIL BACK MY RSVP OR CAN I DO IT ONLINE?
Please RSVP by February 20, 2021, either by mail or online. You can easily RSVP online on our wedding website under the RSVP tab. Please make sure you enter your name as listed on your wedding envelope.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
The ceremony begins at 4:15 in the afternoon. We suggest arriving 15-20 minutes early in order to wash hands and be seated.
HOW WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE SERVED?
Hors d'oeuvres will be passed around during cocktail hour. Dinner will be buffet-style and guests will be invited to the serving line by table. We will have a full open bar available from 5pm - 11pm.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
